Did you know... why our website is constantly improving while almost all other auction websites stay pretty much the same?Return to Did You Know Archive Added: 05/04/2015 Go to ANY online auction website (movie poster or otherwise) you have been to previously, and you likely will quickly see that it has hardly changed at all since the last time you were there (in fact, it may well have gotten worse, with outdated links that go nowhere, or outdated information sorely in need of updating). You almost NEVER see any sort of improvement. Worst of all is the eBay site. There you will find lots of changes, but almost all of them are terrible for both buyers and sellers. They now put ads from other sellers on auction pages, hide bidder IDs, make communication between bidders and sellers very difficult, etc, etc. But go to OUR site, eMoviePoster.com, and you are almost sure to see at least one or two positive changes over the preceding month or two! Whether it is adding search filters, fixing any errors in our auction history, adding ways to make bidding easier, improving our Checkout, or any other way we can think of to make bidding and buying from us quicker and easier! WHY is this? It is NOT because we have the zillions of dollars that eBay and the largest sites have. It IS because we are less concerned with making money than they are, so we have TWO full-time employees whose main job here is to constantly improve our site and our auctions in any way possible. We don't consider their salaries "wasted", because we get most of our new bidders (and keep our existing ones) precisely because of the regular improvements they make. Plus, We have several other super-savvy employees with real auction and selling experience finding new improvements to make, led by myself, Bruce Hershenson, who has 45 years experiences in auctions and collectibles (we don't know that ANY eBay top executives have any real experience either actually running their own auctions or selling their own items as a business). But most of all, we truly listen to YOU, our bidders, buyers and consignors, when you make suggestions on how we can make our auctions and our site better. If what you say makes sense, and there is any way we can make it happen, we do it! Recently, one of our bidders called to ask a question, and he paid us a great compliment. He said that he LOVED everything about our website and our auctions, especially in comparison to others. He added "When the ObamaCare website opened and quickly crashed, I told all my friends that they should have gotten the people who made the eMoviePoster.com site to make theirs, because then it would have worked"!
