EVERY item we auction starts at $1, with NO reserve, and NO buyers premium, and EVERY item is honestly described, with an unenhanced super-sized image!

We charge consignors the lowest rates of ANY major auction, and we have held over 1,834,000 online auctions!

Go to our current auctions in our Auction Galleries, and you will quickly see why we are the most trusted auction site!

eMoviePoster.com was founded in 1999 as the first all-movie poster auction website. We have auctioned well over 1.8 MILLION posters (movie and NON-movie), lobby cards, stills and related items through our auctions since 1999, surely the most of any online auction!

Did you know... that our new mobile site is live in beta test mode?

One of the comments we most hear from our customers is that they sometimes missed bidding on an item because they were away from their computer when it closed. Sometimes they say that they tried to bid on their phone, but it was too hard to do. Well, NOW we have big news for those of you who have found yourself in this situation!

Our most requested new feature:
THE BETA RELEASE OF OUR MOBILE SITE IS HERE!

When you navigate to our auctions on a phone or tablet (either to an item page OR to auctions.emovieposter.com), your phone or tablet will load the page and then a question should appear stating we have a mobile site and it will ask you if you want to use the mobile site.

Tap YES and you will then be in the mobile site! Alternately, you can go there directly by going to auctions.emovieposter.com/m. We highly recommend you add a bookmark to that page in your phone or tablet so you can have fast access to it while you are on the go.

What does it do? It allows you to view the auction (in a simplified form) including an enlargeable image (the images are actively being improved especially for items like still sets; for now the display of them is inconsistent), the current bids, time left, and the bid history. And of course, it allows you to place bids and search for items too!

BUT PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A BETA VERSION, SO YOU SHOULD NOT COUNT ON IT ABSOLUTELY WORKING! It is still under development, and we know that certain aspects of it need work. For example, the search option is still under development, and we aren't sure that the SMS notifications (texts) are 100% right yet. This also means that we ask you to let us know right away what problem(s) you experienced so we can focus on improving it.

But know that we have tested it extensively, and we know for certain that bidding and viewing auctions DOES work, so this is a great solution for those of you "on the go" who can't be in front of your computer, and we encourage you to try it out well in advance of the close of auctions so that if you do encounter a problem, you have time to get to our regular site and place your bid(s).

Here are a few screenshots from a Samsung Galaxy 4 phone.

1) Here is the home screen which shows 3 rotating items from current auctions as well as options to browse by a few options. Note you can tap on the circular icon to the right of "eMoviePoster" to view more options including a search box.

2) Here is the top of an auction page (as it appears when you are already logged in). Note the "Read More" where it allows you to view the film description, condition grade, and other details specific to that item, followed by some buttons to browse to other items and to add it to your watch list. Next it shows you the thumbnail(s) and a "Place Bid" button (or if you aren't logged it, it will instead show you "Login to Bid"). If you scroll down further, you can see current bid information, the category it is in, and the time left in the auction.

3) Once you are logged in, when you tap on the circular icon in the top right corner to view more options, you will see additional options including "Recently Viewed", "SMS Notices", and "Log Out". Below is the screen for SMS Notices (texts) which allow you to be texted when you are outbid. We encourage you to use this option if you want to receive texts, but remember that this is not guaranteed to work, so do not count on those notices. That is, if there is something you would be devastated to lose at auction, then you should still be checking the auction regardless of whether or not you received outbid text notices.

Here is a tip that may prove very helpful. If you are planning to check on one or more of our auctions near the end with your phone or tablet, then use your phone or tablet to look at those auctions NOW, so that when you go back near the auctions end times, those items will appear after you click the "Recently Viewed" tab.

Please be sure to let us know about your experience after using the mobile site. Be sure to remember that this is in "beta mode", so DON'T rely on it as your sole way of bidding on an item near the close, if it is an item you very much want.  If you experience anything that should be improved, tell us that, but you can also tell us about good experiences you have with it (such as "I was spending Thanksgiving with my family, but I was still able to increase my bid on this poster I really wanted, and I won!").
