In most of our major auctions, we include a lot of linenbacked and paperbacked posters, but we ALSO include unbacked posters, lobby cards, stills, and other rare items. But for our September Mini/Major Auction, we were consigned two large collections of linenbacked and paperbacked posters, so I have decided to limit this auction solely to linenbacked and paperbacked posters! Now not every collector collects restored posters, but most collectors of "older" posters quickly learn how nice it can be to buy a "post-restoration" poster over a "pre-restoration" one, because their imperfections have been fixed, and they display so much better, and are ready to frame. And somebody else has picked up the restoration tab!

Of course, it is important to buy your restored posters from an auction that not only can 100% be trusted to honestly describe both the defects that were restored and the quality of the restoration work, and you want one that has an ironclad lifetime guarantee that what they said is true (like we offer on every restored item we auction). Bidders will often bid higher on the restored items we auction, because we completely take out the "fear factor" of bidding on a poster and then finding out afterwards that it was not as represented.
