There is NO other auction ANYWHERE in the world who runs
THOUSAND of individual unique auctions every WEEK as we do! The
vast majority of our customers (over 99%) fully recognize just how difficult
that is to do at all, and ever more so, how difficult it is to do that as
well as we do, with as few mistakes and as well-run a system to list,
photograph, auction, pack and ship all these items we have, and every week
we get quite a few complimentary emails from happy customers. But there is a tiny percentage of our customers (less than 1%) who over and over find fault with what we do. It might be that we described a one-sheet as having a one inch tear in a border, and they measured it and found it to be 1.25 inches! Or it might be that they took too long to pay for their "Pay and Hold" purchases, and then are mad because we then no longer charge them our flat rate shipping charge, even though that is clearly stated everywhere. Or it might be that we packed up all their purchases over an EIGHT week period from 12 different sets of auctions and emailed them their shipping options, but they have bought one more item and they want us to re-open the package, add that in and then get new shipping options, even though we have already waited 56 days to combine their items into one package! We have observed that these problems almost always occur with that same very tiny subset of our customers, those who are very difficult to please at all stages of the auction process. We think it is fine for them to demand this extra level of personal care in their bidding, in their orders, and anything else, but we could never continue to auction as many items as we do if we had to take the time to give this extra personalized service. We know there aren't any auctions anywhere that do a better job in these areas, so maybe these sorts of people should quit buying from any auctions! However we also know there are other dealers out there who only sell a fraction of we do, and many of them can and do have the time to take care of such special requests, and we feel that it is quite possible these sorts of people would be far happier ordering from such dealers. 99% of our just-under FIFTY THOUSAND customers NEVER have even a single problem when bidding with us or ordering from us, and we thank them all so very, very much!
