Did you know... that we recently auctioned our 600,000th item?Return to Did You Know Archive Added: 08/22/2011 We recently sold our 600,000th item in our Thursday, August 11th auction of folded non-U.S. posters and lobby cards! Now we are talking about 600,000 separate auctions, and since many of our auctions contain sets of stills or lobby cards, and lots of our auctions have been of "bulk lots" that means we have auctioned far in excess of ONE MILLION vintage movie paper items (and related memorabilia)! We have one competitor who claims to have auctioned around 25% of what we have, but of course there is no way of knowing if that is accurate (or if it counts items that passed, were bought back by the consignors, were never paid for, were bought by the auction house, etc), and aside from them there is likely no auctioneer that has auctioned even 10% of what we have. When YOU have items you want to buy or sell at auction, doesn't it make sense to turn to the industry leader, who not only has auctioned far MORE than any other auction, but who also has been auctioning movie paper for 22 solid years, and who has far and away the best reputation in the movie poster collecting hobby?
