eMoviePoster.comDid you know... that there are just FOUR weeks left to consign to our February Major Auction, and that there are some changes to our consignment policiesReturn to Did You Know Archive Added: 12/16/2019 Our February Major Auction starts February 4th and runs to the 23rd, and the FINAL deadline to consign to it is Friday, January 10th! Given the wonderful results we received in our mostly concluded December Major Auction, doesn't it make sense to consign some or all of your top items that you are willing to sell, so they can be in this Major Auction, when we have the most (and best) buyers of quality material we have ever had? Remember that we charge far and away the lowest seller commissions of ANY major auction (once you include their incredibly misleading "buyers premiums", and that this is true at EVERY price level. Plus, when you consider that we have never had any real disagreement with any of our 2,500+ consignors over a 30 year period, and when you know that we have never been involved in a lawsuit, where our competitors have had lawsuit after lawsuit from disgruntled consignors, doesn't it make sense to consign to eMoviePoster.com RIGHT NOW? And of course you can also consign lesser items that don't qualify for our Major Auctions, and those will go in the next auctions of those sizes (and our "regular auctions" have also been getting wonderful results. But we have made some changes to our consignment policies that we want to make sure you are all aware of (because unlike every other auction, we have no "fine print" designed to deceive and trick consignors and buyers alike). What are the
changes? Here they are: 2) "Better" 8x10 vintage stills are fine to consign, and if they have a realistic value of $20 each (as singles or sets) they will be auctioned individually; but if they are "lesser" 8x10 vintage stills, then we DON'T want them at all because there just aren't people who want them, even for very little money. 3) You CAN send repros of quality
stills, but ONLY if they are NOT mixed in with originals, and
ONLY if we can auction them in bulk lots, because we don't auction repro
stills individually. Please note that we have made the above changes because starting January 7th, 2020, we will be changing from weekly auctions to bi-weekly auctions (all auctions lasting 14 days), so we will no longer be able to auction any sub-$20 items, except in bulk lots. Please read the above (and answers to all commonly asked questions about consigning) at http://www.emovieposter.com/learnmore/?page=consign BEFORE sending us consignments, so you know exactly how consigning to us works. And remember that there are just FOUR weeks left to consign to our February Major Auction, and if you send in consignments NOW, you may see YOUR items in our preview ads, which will start appearing this coming week!
