eMoviePoster.comDid you know... about the five employees who have been here between 3 and 4 years (Employees Part III of III)?Return to Did You Know Archive Added: 05/21/2018 Remember that movie (whose name slips my mind!) where 7 gunmen go to a small Mexican village and chase off around 50 bandits?
Did you catch Parts I and II of this series of articles about our magnificent employees? Read Part I (about our five longest term employees, who have been here 15 to 19 years) and Part II (about our next eight longest term employees, who have been here 6 to 11 years), then read Part III below! This week I want to also talk about another five who have been here between three and four years each, because they also deserve considerable praise for all they contribute here, and just because they have not been here as long as the above thirteen does not make their contributions any less important! On March 17, 2014, Ben started, and in the time he has been here he has become a very essential employee! Ben is in charge of cropping and watermarking the many thousands of digital images we shoot each week of upcoming auction items, and Ben does this job faster and more accurately than any other person who held the job before him. Ben been here over 4 years! On August 12, 2014, Sam started, and he is one the people who photograph items on one of our two magnetic walls, including very large posters like six-sheets, 24-sheets, two-panels, etc. If you are one of those people who marvel at the quality of our images of our large posters (especially while we are doing so many every week) know that Sam is a big factor in this. In a few months Sam will have been here 4 years! On August 25, 2014, Apolonia started, and she is one the people who organizes most of the U.S. items we are consigned (of all sizes), right after they arrive. This is an extremely difficult job to do quickly AND accurately, because there are thousands of items to prepare each week, and yet Apolonia manages to do both, week in and week out. In a few months Apolonia will have been here 4 years! On September 9, 2014, Whitney started, and she is one the people who photograph small items in one of our two photo booths, including sets of lobby cards and stills. If you are one of those people who marvel at the quality of our images of our sets (especially while we are doing so many every week) know that Whitney is a big factor in this. In four months Whitney will have been here 4 years! On February 3, 2014, Annie started here, and she has quickly proven that she "has what it takes" to be one of the most valuable employees here. She is one of the people who "describe" posters (creating records for each one, and merging the image we took with an online description of the movie AND the poster, and adding a new record if need be), and in a couple of years she has proven to be so good in this position that it has allowed Matt (see Part II) to move into other areas, and do far less describing. In nine months Annie will have been here 4 years! When you consider the total years all of our 33 employees have been here (plus MY 28 years doing nothing but this), that means that all of us combined have been here a total of TWO HUNDRED YEARS of total work experience from all of us! The next time you are wondering HOW eMoviePoster.com does all it does (and does it so expertly) reflect on these 200 years of total work experience, and you have your answer! Of course there are another 9 employees here who have been here between a few months and two years who I did not mention by name. Once some more make it to having been here three years or more, I will thank them personally as well! And it really DOES take all 33 of us here to make eMoviePoster.com the very best auction house there is. If YOU have not yet
discovered how very different it is to deal with us rather than ANY other auction company, just buy one item from us (or consign one to us) and
you will quickly see just how different we are. See Also
