On Friday, we had an historic sale! We sold some posters (that closed on Thursday night) to a brand new buyer, and that person was the FORTY THOUSANDTH person we have sold to! We are constantly adding new customers, despite the fact that we don't do virtually any paid advertising, and we don't "buy" placement on Google (or "friends" on Facebook), and we don't print fancy catalogs or brochures, designed to lure in new buyers.

Instead, we simply do the very best job of ANY auction site there is! We provide high quality unenhanced honest images of every item we auction, and we meticulously and accurately describe the condition of every item, something no other auction does. Best of all, we offer a LIFETIME GUARANTEE as to authenticity on all we sell, and we provide TRUE customer service before, during and after every transaction, again, two things that NO other major auction does!

So it is little wonder we constantly get new customers. Ironically, many come straight to us from other auction companies, because they were tired of the treatment they received there, and they asked around (or searched the Internet) and found us, and once we make a new customer, we almost NEVER lose them (until the day they quit collecting, and then they often consign some or all of their collection to us, because doesn't it make sense to sell your items through the company that you never had a problem with when you were buying from them)?

Incidentally, you may be wondering why, if we rarely ever lose customers, we "only" currently have 9,300 "active" bidders out of 40,000! The answer is this is both because we have been doing this for 25 years (far longer than any other major movie paper auction) and naturally not that many people who started many years ago still collect. But also, some collectors "take a break" for a while, and later return, and when any of our accounts have been inactive for one year, we deactivate that account, because we have found that sometimes those dormant accounts can be "hijacked" by scammers.

It is a matter of a few clicks to "reactivate" a dormant account, so whenever a former buyer contacts us to say "they are back" we do so. So when you see our number above, which says that "9,300 of our bidders are currently active", you know that we have 9,300 movie paper collectors and dealers who have bid with us over the past 12 months!

We also just held our 1,100,000th auction, another nice round number! And we have had 1,750 consignors, which is NOT a round number, but which is pretty remarkable all the same, because it tells you that a high percentage of all the dealers there are in the world have now consigned to us!
