As of October 31st, we have total sales for 2015 of $4,090,078. Of course we have two full months in which to possibly exceed out previous record sale ($5,133,181 in 2013). Can we do it? Definitely! It will likely depend on the total revenue from both the Halloween action and our December Major Auction. If those two total $750,000, then we will have an excellent chance.

Why do we continue to grow in total sales year after year (and almost every year from 1990 on)? The answer is simple. We do everything "right", treating our buyers and our consignors exactly as we want to be treated when we are a buyer.

But there are other reasons as well. Many collectors have been buying from us for 10, 20, or more years,  and that means they KNOW 100% for sure that we will treat them the exact same way as a consignor as we treated them when they bought from us. They never had any problems we did not immediately fix after they called our attention to it.

They also know that we alone among all major auctions can and will sell their ENTIRE collection, not just the best items. And they know that we alone can handle a collection with LOTS of items. We recently have successfully auctioned a collection with 20,000 items in it, and others with a similar number of items. We also charge the lowest commissions of ANY major auction house, at every price level, and we get higher prices overall (for like items).

What we DON'T do is take out endless ads in lots of publications, hoping to find new buyers. We prefer to give that money we could have spent back to the buyers and consignors in the form of lower fees, and we trust that new buyers will find us without the endless ads through good word of mouth, and obviously that is working just fine, since we get new buyers every week, and our annual sales keep rising.

Given all this, eMoviePoster.com may well have a record sales year in 2015. But whether we do or don't, we will NEVER rest on our laurels. If we do set a new record this year, then we will make every effort to set yet another new sales record in 2016!
