It is true! We have worked so VERY hard the past two years (since we switched to bi-weekly auctions, but even more so since we switched to "every four week" auctions), and where we once had many thousands of old consignments "waiting their turn", we now have an extremely low number of items here that were consigned long ago, and they almost all fit in just a few categories:

1) low value rolled posters
2) low value unsorted stills
3) a very few titles that we get consigned SO frequently that it will take a couple of years to auction them all
4) "weird stuff" that is not very valuable or desirable

But just about every old consignment that is solidly worth $20 or more has now gone to auction! THIS HAS TWO REALLY WONDERFUL BENEFITS TO CONSIGNORS AND BUYERS ALIKE!

1) This means that just about EVERY newly sent consignment that is solidly worth $20 or more will get to auction in our very next set of auctions (where the consign deadline has not passed)!
2) You will see FAR fewer low value, not very desirable items in any of our auctions (except for bulk lots)!

When I review a new group of consignments, I take all items not solidly worth $20 or more and put them in bulk lots (and the bulk lots themselves have to be solidly worth $20 or more as a whole). THIS HAS GREATLY IMPROVED THE QUALITY OF EACH NEW SET OF AUCTIONS!

And I guarantee all of you that this "trend" will only continue, and that the quality of what we offer will keep getting better and better and better!
