IMPORTANT CHANGE STARTING IN THIS SET OF AUCTIONS! In the past, we only pictured eight of the stills where there were more than eight black and white stills (when there were more than eight color stills or mini lobby cards, we pictured them all). BUT STARTING THIS TIME, WE PICTURE EVERY STILL IN EVERY AUCTION! So when there are 30 or 40 or 84 stills in a single lot, ALL of them are pictured!

WHY did we make this change? We started auctioning multiple stills (each auction containing 2 or more stills from a single movie) many years ago. At that time we only had a single photography booth, and photographing large groups of stills created slowdowns for our photographers, so the decision was made that we would only photograph eight from each auction.

We quickly saw that this created a problem with color stills, because a complete set often has 12 in it, and everyone wanted to see all 12. So the rule was amended so that all color stills were photographed, but only 8 for black and white stills (of course when they contained more than 8).

But years later, when we started holding massive bulk lot auctions once a month (at first 5,000 to 10,000 items in each, but lately these have grown to 12,000 to 18,000 in each!), we saw that we needed to photograph EVERY item in each bulk lot, because no one likes bidding on bulk lots where you are guessing at what is in them.

But this meant we needed to construct a second photo booth, and we did so. But since the bulk lots are once a month, that meant that we had more time available in both booths the rest of the month, so that allows us to make this much requested change, and WE WILL NOW ALWAYS SHOW IMAGES OF EVERY STILL IN ALL OUR MUTI-STILL AUCTIONS!

And we could not have picked a better time to start than right now, because we were just consigned a GREAT group of stills that contain 20, 30, 40 or many more black and white stills from each title, and where bidders would have in the past only seen 8 from each title, they now see EVERY still in each group! The auctions start on August 26th and end on September 2nd, and contains just under TEN THOUSAND stills in 999 groups. If you like stills, you will love this auction!
