eMoviePoster.comDid You Know... that we just received consignments from our 1,900th consignor?Return to Did You Know Archive Added: 10/03/2016 We just received consignments from our 1,900th consignor! It is getting where almost EVERY longtime dealer and collector has consigned to us (and needless to say, virtually everyone on the entire planet who collects movie posters has purchased from us!). The reason is simple: We do the best job, we charge the lowest commissions, and we get the highest prices overall (when you compare "like" items). And unlike EVERY other major auction, we give TRUE customer service, before, during, and after every transaction with both buyers and consignors. And also, you know from reading elsewhere in our club message that it is now time to consign items to our current upcoming December Major Auction, but it is also a great time to send a different kind of "major" consignment, meaning a great NUMBER of items (as many as an entire truck full, which we have received many times in the past)! Why? Because we have greatly upped our auctioning capability, and we held over 100,000 auctions in the first nine months of this year, far and away our most ever. We have been rapidly auctioning all of our oldest consignments just as fast as we can assemble them, and the day is coming (within a few more months) where we are completely caught up on old consignments. At that time, we will be needing LOTS of new consignments, and if people drive here with cars or trucks full of items, we will be able to get them quickly to auction, something NO other auction can possibly come close to doing. If you have been following other auctions, then you know that there have been some massive auctions over the past few months (mostly lobby cards and stills). Most of those were auctioned in the worst possible way, with bulk lots of high quality items (sometimes thousands of items in a single lot). Many of the buyers from those auctions have been starting to send the items to us, because they find that they make good money with us re-auctioning the items, because we describe the items so much better and more honestly. If YOU have participated in those kinds of auctions, shouldn't you be thinking about consigning some of those items to us? Finally, if you are someone with a large collection, and have been considering letting it all go, then know that right now you have a chance to give it to us, and we can get it all auctioned in a few months. If we get backlogged again with consignments, or if we decide to not do as many auctions, then there would be no way that you could get your collection auctioned anywhere near as efficiently as we can do right now. So this may be "food for thought" for some of you long time collectors!
