We received this message this week from "no.reply@noreply.com" (obviously a fake email address which is unfortunate):

"Respectfully, you need to setup your system alerts to let us know there is something in our want list THE DAY THAT IT IS LISTED!!! Not a mere less than 24 hours before auction end. Sorry, but what kind of nonsense is this?! Then it is way too late for many of us to budget ourselves or even get the email on time & place a bid! Not everyone is a millennial with a cell phone fused in the palm of their hand! thank you for your consideration and I hope you will fix this in the near future.
    PS: in case you are not aware, yes it is every single time there's something on my want list that the eMoviePoster.com email alert has been sent with less than 24 hours to go."

Had we been able to reply, we would have advised the bidder that there is indeed a way to change this by going to their Member's Preferences page and changing the Want List notification time from from "one" day to "six" or "five" or any other number of days before the close of the auction. So whoever sent that message, if you are reading this, please proceed to your Member's Preference page at https://www.emovieposter.com/members/preferences.php , change the setting, and be sure you click "Submit All Changes" for it to take effect.

This also brings up a great additional point! There are four different online movie poster forums, and also a number of Facebook groups. We don't have time to monitor them all and see what is posted on each. Yet often, we will get a message that one of these is discussing our auctions, referencing a mistake we made on an auction (or what they thought was a "mistake"), and yet they didn't take the time to email us directly, so we could either fix it (if they were right), or explain to them why they are incorrect (if they were wrong).

So if YOU ever see ANY mistake on any of our auction (present or past) or see ANYTHING on our website you feel is wrong (or where you just have additional information you would like to share with us), then go to the top of any page, and click on the "Help/Info" link at top right, and then under it select either "Contact Us" or "Report a Problem", and we promise to quickly get back to you, and to also fix what it is you contacted us about!
