WHEREVER you go in the world, movie paper collectors all know the name "eMoviePoster.com"! That's because we truly ARE an international company. 27% of our 9,700+ active registered bidders are from outside the U.S., as are a similar percentage of our 1,773 consignors!

Almost all U.S. auction companies and dealers sell very little outside the U.S., for several reasons. They often charge outrageous shipping rates, making a profit on the Post Office's and other shippers already high rates. But we never charge more than the actual cost of shipping, plus $3 for packaging materials. Speaking of packaging, OUR packages virtually never get damaged in transit, whereas many other auction companies and dealers have a LOT of damaged packages, because they skimp on packaging materials to try to save some money.

But surely the greatest reason we have so many more international buyers is that we allow them to combine ALL their purchases over a six week period, during which time we will have held between 15,000 and 18,000 auctions! By contrast, most other auction companies and dealers will offer a tiny fraction of that amount over that same time, and most international buyers have learned it doesn't make much sense to buy a single item from the U.S. (unless it is something they REALLY want).

But just about every international buyer can find at least a handful of items (and maybe many more) to buy from our auctions over a six week time, and then the cost of shipping PER ITEM goes drastically down. And of course when you add in the fact that we ALWAYS honestly describe and photograph every item we auction, and we really have no reserves or buyers premiums, so great buys are made every week, then it is little wonder we do so much more international business than any other U.S. based auction.

Attention non-U.S. bidders! We KNOW full well that the recent massive rise of the dollar against almost all currencies has made it more expensive for many of you to buy in our auctions (although of course, our combining policy helps greatly, as noted above).

But if the stronger dollar has curtailed your bidding, have you considered that now would be a great time to CONSIGN to us? We will pay you for your sales in U.S. dollars, which will likely yield you much more in your own currency.
