Problems With the Google Toolbar.
Some customers have reported that some web pages do not display properly when using the Google Toolbar add-on in either Firefox or Internet Explorer.
In most cases, this can be easily resolved by temporarily disabling or uninstalling the Google Toolbar. Use the directions below to disable the Google Toolbar in Internet Explorer.
Disabling the Google Toolbar.
- Step 1: Locate the "View" menu. This is usually located near the upper left of the browser.
- Step 2: Browse to the "Toolbars" menu.
- Step 3: Uncheck the check mark next to "Google" on the Toolbars menu.
Uninstalling the Google Toolbar in Windows Vista (works much the same way in Windows XP).
- Step 1: Click the "Start" button at lower left and browse to the "Control Panel".
- Step 2: Go to "Programs and Features" and then "Uninstall or change a program".
- Step 3: Highlight "Google Toolbar" and then click "Uninstall" in the menu at top center.
Note: These directions apply to Internet Explorer but this add-on is disabled in much the same way in Firefox
