I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES! This week, I have the pressbook from I Take This Woman, the 1931 Marion Gering romantic cowboy western melodrama (from the novel by Mary Roberts Rhinehart; about the daughter of a wealthy rancher who marries a poor ranch hand who works there, and he insists they don't take any of her father's money and she can't take being poor, so she leaves, and he joins a rodeo, and when he is injured, she returns to him) starring Gary Cooper, Carole Lombard, Helen Ware, Lester Vail, Charles Trowbridge, and Al Hart Here is an image of the covers and two interior pages: Each week I will showcase a different pressbook (or related item) from my collection (so in just 20,000 weeks or so, I will have shared the entire collection with you!).
