As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

This week, I have the pressbook from Letter from an Unknown Woman, the 1948 Max Ophuls romantic tragedy ("from his tempestuous past..."; "from her impassionated memories... The story that will live... As long as there is love!"; "Joan Fontaine Unforgettably Matched for Love with Louis Jourdan"; "All of life I've waited for you - listened for your footsteps on the stair - your hand upon the knob, counting each unbearable moment until you came."; "I gave you all my love... Yet you did not ever remember my name!"; "From the story by Stefan Zweig"; this movie was a re-make of the 1933 movie "Only Yesterday" starring Margaret Sullavan and John Boles) starring Joan Fontaine ("In Her Greatest Portrayal"), Louis Jourdan ("Romantic New Star of 'The Paradine Case'"), Mady Christians, Marcel Journet, Art Smith, and Carol Yorke.
