As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

This week, I have the pressbook from Hollywood Speaks, the 1932 Edward Buzzell (billed as "Eddie Buzzell") Los Angeles California Hollywood gossip scandal newspaper journalism romantic movie-making acting melodrama (a convoluted "expose" of Hollywood's dark side, with O'Brien as a newspaper columnist who sets out to expose Hollywood scandals, and ends up preventing a beautiful star from committing suicide, and finally marries her) starring Pat O'Brien, Genevieve Tobin, Leni Stengel, Rita La Roy, Ralf Harolde, Anderson Lawler and Lucien Prival. Note that this was a "pre-Code" movie, with very racy themes and scenes!.
