As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

This week, I have the pressbook from Congorilla, the 1932 Osa & Martin Johnson Africa jungle safari documentary ("It is the thrill of your life!"; "One and only talking picture entirely made in Africa!") "with Mr. & Mrs. Martin Johnson". Note that Osa Johnson was married to Martin Johnson, and that they made African documentary movies for 20 years, but Martin Johnson was killed in 1937 during the filming of "Borneo", but his wife finished the movie and released it after his death, and she also released one final movie, "I Married Adventure", in 1940, three years after her husband's death, and on that movie, she was billed as "Osa Johnson (Mrs. Martin Johnson)".
