Cool Item Of the Month: From Hell to Heaven pressbookReturn to Cool Item of the Month Archive Added: 07/01/2024 As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you this week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES! This week, I have the pressbook from From Hell to Heaven, the 1933 Erle C. Kenton horse racing gambling romantic murder melodrama ("from a play by Lawrence Hazard"; a very complicated but clever story about many residents at a resort hotel, and all of them have bet on a special horse race, but each have bet on a different horse, and each badly needs their horse to win for a variety of reasons, including paying back embezzled funds!) starring Carole Lombard, Jack Oakie, Adrienne Ames, David Manners, Sidney Blackmer, Nydia Westman, Shirley Grey, and Allen Wood.
