Cool Item Of the Week: The Cowboy and the Bandit pressbookReturn to Cool Item of the Month Archive Added: 01/18/2021 As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you this week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES! This week, I have the pressbook from The Cowboy and the Bandit, the 1935 Albert Herman cowboy western ("A Range Rider Western"; first in the series) starring Rex Lease (in the title role as cowboy Bill Bodie), Hal Taliaferro (billed as "Wally Wales"), Bobby Nelson, Art Mix, Bill Desmond, Franklyn Farnum, Janet Morgan, Bill Patton, Ben Corbett, and Victor Potel. Note that the bandit in this story is apparently named "Larkin", but none of the actors are credited with that character's name!
