As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

So below is the pressbook from The Man in the Shadow, the 1926 David Hartford silent gambling political crime murder melodrama ("A thrilling melodrama"; "A humble protest against the supreme penalty when evidence is circumstantial"; about the son of a governor's girlfriend who works in a bank, and gets in with gamblers who cheat him, and then offer to forgive the debt in return for the blueprints to the bank building so they can rob it, and then the head gambler is killed, and the young man is accused of his murder because of his involvement with them) starring David Torrence, Mary McAlister, Arthur Rankin, Joseph Bennett, Myrtle Stedman, John T.
