As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

So below is the pressbook from Thunderbolt, the 1935 Stuart Paton canine German Shepherd dog cowboy western ("The story of a heroic dog and a loyal boy!"; "Original story and screenplay by Jack T.O. Gevne"; about an orphan boy who becomes friends with a prospector and his police dog Thunderbolt, and the dog rescues him from both a burning cabin and the outlaws who killed his father) starring Lobo (billed as "the Marvel Dog"), Kane Richmond, Bobby Nelson, Fay McKenzie, Barney Furey, Lafe McKee, Robert McKenzie, and Frank Hagney. Note that Lobo the Marvel Dog first appeared in 1935's "Guard That Girl" and this was the only other movie he appeared in!
