As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

So below is the pressbook from Child of Manhattan, the 1933 Edward Buzzell New York City romantic love triangle melodrama ("She was a good girl with a bad name!"; "Women called her Sinner... Men called her Siren... He called her Sweetheart... but the world called her 'Child of Manhattan'"; "From the Stage Success by Preston Sturges"; "The World called her BAD because she dared to LOVE!"; "Can love make a woman cheap!"; "The drama of a good girl with a bad name!"; "Is it ever a sin to love?"; about a dance hall girl in love with a rich man, and he reluctantly marries her when she becomes pregnant, but then she loses the baby and she runs off with Buck Jones!) starring Nancy Carroll, John Boles, Warburton Gamble, Clara Blandick, Jane Darwell, Gary Owen, Betty Grable (in an early role billed in the pressbook but nowhere else!), Luis Alberni, Jessie Ralph, and Buck Jones (billed as "Charles Jones")
