About our current 462 "very oversized" or "oversized" items
All of the items we are currently auctioning are "very oversized" or "oversized", meaning that they can't be sent in our regular standard-sized flat mailers, or our tubes that measure 30" or shorter. Some must be sent rolled in really oversized tubes and some must be sent in oversized flat packages (all larger than the size of flat window cards, and some much larger). This means that, this week only, we can ONLY combine shipment of those items that are only sent in tubes OR items that are solely sent in flat packages, but if you win items of BOTH types, then you will have to pay two separate shipping charges. It should be pretty simple to tell which items can only be sent flat and which can only be sent in a tube (it is noted on each individual auction page and in the chart above). Either way, you will have to pay a greater amount for shipping than normal (especially if you live outside the U.S.). We charge the "actual" cost of shipping this week (plus $3 for packaging materials) to all buyers (U.S. and non-U.S.), because we are selling items of 100 different sizes (all "oversized"), and our shipping estimate charts below for non-U.S. buyers are only of limited use (and the actual cost can vary drastically from the chart, so PLEASE do not think that you can rely on them!), due to the wide variance of the size of the packages, so if knowing the actual shipping cost is important to you before you bid, please contact us with the item or items, along with where you live.

About the condition
We give a detailed overall condition grade ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good", and only a few which are "good" or lesser) along with more details about the condition described in words (where we thought additional details were needed, because the defects were hard to see). We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we could not describe every single defect, so we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the still for minor defects that we did NOT describe.

U.S. Shipping Details

THIS WEEK ONLY, all buyers (U.S. AND non-U.S.) must pay the actual cost of sending your order (unless you solely purchase lots 8j111 to 8j240 because those CAN be shipping for the $12 U.S. flat rate shipping), plus $3 for the packaging materials. After winning, you need to request a shipping quote through our Checkout system. Learn the exact details of flat rate shipping

Why don't we have a "flat rate" for most U.S. orders this week, like we do most weeks (except as noted in the chart above)? Because we are selling "very oversized" or "oversized" posters of all shapes and sizes, some of which must be sent in our custom-made extra heavy duty gorilla proof mailing tubes, and some of which must be sent in "very oversized" flat packages which are much stronger than the ones used by most sellers (*read more about our "gorilla proof" tubes or packages that stand up to the greatest of abuse, and we wrap all expensive items in plastic, so that even a submerged tube or package will likely arrive undamaged!). Shipping will vary greatly depending on how many items you get, what the weight of the posters are, if they fit in the same package, and where you live. Generally it will cost $25 at the very least to send an oversized tube or flat package anywhere in the U.S. by either U.S. mail or UPS, fully insured (all U.S. orders MUST be fully insured).

Can we send your order in a less expensive way? We have purchased movie paper items many hundreds of times over the Internet ourselves, and we have seen the tubes and oversized flat packages that other sellers use (both the free kind and the kind purchased at shipping supply stores), and the protection offered by those tubes is spotty at best (those cheaper tubes will often get bent resulting in creasing or tearing to the poster, or in extreme cases, a tube can even lose a cap from an end resulting in the buyer receiving a tube but no posters!), so please do not ask us to use a lighter weight tube or oversized flat package or less expensive packing materials to save on shipping, because we won't do it! We know that once you see our tubes and oversized flat packages you will agree that they are a great investment in protecting your purchase(s) and you will wonder why other sellers of vintage movie paper do not use these same tubes and oversized flat packages (and if somehow you don't agree with us, we ask you not to bid at all!).

Do you need "signature required"?
UPS nor USPS automatically require a signature to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will need to pay the extra $3.87 for UPS or $2.35 for USPS that they charge for "signature required", and please realize that they will then NOT leave the package at the door, and you may well have to go to the UPS or USPS facility yourself to pick it up if you aren't there to meet the delivery person. But if you prefer this, that is fine, and if you have any other special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order. IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!

You CAN usually combine shipment!

NOTE: These Tuesday items need to be sent in oversized flat packages OR rolled in oversized tubes so...
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT COMBINING: Flat rate shipping is good for 3 weeks worth of purchases (assuming all the items fit into a single package; Learn More About Combining). If you win items over a span of more than 21 days, you will then be charged the actual cost of shipping plus $3 for packing materials.

*
There is a chance "oversized rolled items" can be combined with these auctions and we will combine them if there is no chance of damage to any of them items you win:

Thursday May 28th rolled one-sheets
Thursday June 11th rolled posters in June Major Auction Part III
Thursday June 18th rolled non-U.S. posters
Sunday June 21st rolled "special" posters of all kinds

*There is a chance "oversized flat items" can be combined with these auctions and we will combine them if there is no chance of damage to any of them items you win:

Sunday May 31st groups of 2+ stills from the same film
Tuesday June 2nd folded one-sheets
Sunday June 14th lobby cards and "flat" items in June Major Auction Part IV
Tuesday June 23rd folded one-sheets
Thursday June 25th 3sheets, 6sheets, Italian, Argent, and more
Sunday June 28th groups of 2+ stills from the same film

*they must be ALL be sent separately from these auctions for an additional shipping charge:

Sunday June 7th linenbacked 1sheets in June Major Auction Part I
Tuesday June 9th linenbacked posters in June Major Auction Part II
Tuesday June 16th paperbacked and really oversized items in June Major Auction Part V (NOTE: A very few can safely be combined and we will do so automatically.)

Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single set of Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Sunday auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items (even if you get 100 or more, but solely from a single set!), but we also allow you to wait until the next three weeks of auctions end (a total of up to nine sets of auctions) so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions (if possible; see Learn More About Combining), and that means there is a chance you could combine items from up to nine of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package, but of course, there is a limit to how many items can fit in a single package or tube, and if you end up with several packages, you will need to pay that many shipping charges; Learn More About Combining). Since around half of our auctions have items that ship in tubes and the other half have items that ship in flat packages, and since few of those items can be combined, most of our regular buyers end up with at least two packages after three weeks. We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do (and of course, there are others who charge far more!), but none of the ones with lower rates offer the same generous flat rate shipping we do, and we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF U.S. SHIPPING (unless you solely purchase lots 8j111 to 8j240 because those CAN be shipping for the $12 U.S. flat rate shipping) PLUS $3 FOR PACKAGING MATERIALS (and on a week like this, when we use very large tubes and flat packages, the $3 usually does not come close to covering the cost of those materials).

Non-U.S. Shipping Details

Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order (you can choose whatever method you prefer), plus $3 for packaging materials. All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order. KNOW THAT IT IS USUALLY MORE EXPENSIVE (SOMETIMES MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE) TO SEND THESE OVERSIZED ITEMS OUTSIDE THE U.S., AND THE BELOW CHARTS ARE ONLY A VERY ROUGH GUIDE TO THE ACTUAL COSTS. We do not make a penny on the shipping (because we charge the actual cost), BUT PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE SUBSTANTIAL ADDED SHIPPING COSTS BEFORE YOU PLACE A BID ON THESE ITEMS!

Have you heard about our Pay and Hold Program?
This lets non-U.S. buyers pay for their purchases from 6 consecutive weeks (a total of 18 auctions and around 15,000+ items!), and we then send all your purchases at once saving you LOTS of money!  Click HERE to learn more about becoming one of the hundreds of our non-U.S. buyers who are already part of this program.

Learn more about how to save money on shipping by shipping to friends/family in the U.S., insurance, and customs fees.

Here is a chart containing estimated shipping charges for up to 3 rolled oversized items OR 3 flat oversized items (see the chart above) from this set of  auctions
ALSO NOTE: Some items such as standees can cost MUCH MUCH more than the estimates shown below due to the large size packages they require for shipment!
NOTE:
These are ESTIMATES only, and your actual shipping may be more or less than these estimates.
ALSO NOTE:
Insurance will increase the cost of shipping by approximately $1.60 for each $100 of insurance.

IMPORTANT! We charge the "actual" cost of shipping this week (plus $3 for packaging materials) to all buyers (U.S. and non-U.S.), because we are selling items of 100 different sizes, and our shipping estimate charts below for non-U.S. buyers are only of limited use, due to the wide variance of the size of the packages, so if knowing the actual shipping cost is important to you before you bid, please contact us with the item or items, along with where you live.

Type of Shipping Canada/Mexico Australian/Asia-Japan Everywhere Else (inc Europe)

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please bear these approximate shipping cost in mind BEFORE you place a bid (if you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very securely packed tube, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order.
Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large "brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it.  Note that there are also some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course this is not legal, and we can not do this.  We have outlined the possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!

DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (both within and outside the U.S.). We only add $3 for packaging materials (and on a set of auctions like this, when we use very large tubes and flat packages, the $3 does not come close to covering the cost of those materials).

You Can Add More to Your Order
In addition to our current auctions, we offer many other non-auction items. Please note that the items in this set of auctions will be sent in very oversized flat packages OR rolled in oversized tubes, so you can add any item that can also be sent in very oversized flat packages OR rolled in oversized tubes for little or no additional shipping costs (NOTE: if we can add it to your package without raising the cost of shipping, then we will do so with no added shipping charge, but if it raises the cost then you will need to pay the difference). We have noted below whether the items can be shipped rolled or not.
