Our Halloween 2010 Mini/Major Auction
has an incredible selection of posters and lobby cards (1,347 items in all!), covering all years,
genres, and sizes from 19 different countries and is being run in two parts:
-
Part I (Tuesday
October 26th to November 2nd):
751 backed & unbacked posters including one-sheets, lobby cards, stills,
non-U.S. posters & more!
-
Part II (Thursday October
28th to November 4th): 596 unfolded or formerly folded posters of
all types
What distinguishes OUR Mini/Major Auctions from
other major auctions? Only the lack of any reserves or buyers premiums,
honest condition grading, and unenhanced super-sized images! You will
find an amazing "supermarket" selection of great posters from all years, genres, and
countries!
SPECIAL
BONUS OFFER TO EVERY BUYER IN THESE AUCTIONS!
INCREDIBLE!
Every buyer from EITHER of the parts of our "11th Annual Halloween 2010
Mini/Major Auction" receives
a great full-color printed t-shirt as a free bonus (even if you only purchase one
$1
item)! Every buyer in this special auction will receive the great full-color
T-shirt pictured at right, which shows the image from the INVASION OF THE
SAUCER MEN one-sheet poster included in this auction (we
will only be making as many t-shirts as there are different buyers in these auctions, so
it will be a VERY limited edition, and likely will become a
"collector's item" in its own right!). Given that you get this great full-color
T-shirt with any purchase, shouldn't you absolutely find any one item to
purchase from us from among the 1,347 items in these
special auctions?
*Note: we give this shirt (which costs
us $9 to $11 each at wholesale, because they are very high quality) to anyone
who purchases one or more items in these auctions.
BUT KNOW THAT YOU ONLY GET ONE SHIRT, NO MATTER HOW MANY ITEMS
YOU PURCHASE, AND WHETHER OR NOT YOU PURCHASE FROM ONE OR BOTH OF THE PARTS OF
THIS SPECIAL AUCTION.
Please also note that, because some of the
posters in this auction are un-backed and rolled, we will NOT send the
t-shirt together with your purchase if you purchase only rolled unbacked items.
In that case only, we will hold it on your account, and we will add it to the next flat
package you receive from us. But if you purchase items that CAN
have a t-shirt included with them, then we will include the shirt with your
purchases.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S EVEN MORE!
The above offer is for anyone who purchases any ONE item from either
part of this mini/major auction. But if you are a member of our
weekly e-mail club,
we will be offering our most generous bonus offers ever to those who purchase
just FIVE items from either or both of the two parts combined (you need
just purchase a total of five items from both parts). We will have
multiple great offers for those who purchase as few as five items, and as many
as twelve or more, and you get these just for being a member of the club (so if
you are not already a member, and over 6,531 collectors already are, then why
not join today by going to
http://www.emovieposter.com/mail/clubsignup.php). |

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BUYING A PAPERBACKED OR LINENBACKED POSTER FROM
EMOVIEPOSTER.COM AND FROM BUYING ONE FROM ANYWHERE ELSE?
The great plus about buying a paperbacked or linenbacked poster from eMoviePoster.com is
that you have an assurance of "genuine-ness" and you know the amount of
restoration the poster has had, and you know the quality of the restoration,
WHICH IS TRUE OF VERY FEW AUCTIONS OTHER THAN EMOVIEPOSTER.COM!
Not only did we extremely carefully check every single
backed poster we are auctioning to make certain that it is a genuine
poster that has had only the restoration we describe (and in many cases we
saw the poster prior to backing), but we also give an ironclad 100%
money back guarantee if any of the backed posters we auction ever prove
to not be genuine. Other auctioneers may SAY they have a
similar guarantee, but do you really want to hope that they will honor
it (plus, there is every possibility that by the time you discover a problem
with one of their posters, they may well have "moved on" to auctioning other
kinds of items, and with eMoviePoster.com, you KNOW that we have done
nothing but auction movie posters for over 20 years, and we are definitely
not going anywhere)!
And when the day comes that you want to re-sell a
backed poster in your collection, it will make a big difference if you
can say that you purchased it from eMoviePoster.com, because then others
will also know that it is surely genuine and accurately described (assuming
you reuse our condition description and/or our image [we will provide the
purchaser of any item our unwatermarked image of the item they purchased, if
they request it])!
About the Condition of the non-backed
items
Note that we give a detailed overall condition grade to every item we sell ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good",
and "good", with only a few graded "fair" or lesser) along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much
a general description of the defects, and we only describe specific defects if they are
the type that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable). We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
NOTE THAT FOR THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE "OLDER"
UNBACKED ITEMS IN THIS AUCTION (those from before 1970) WE NOTE WHETHER THAT
ITEM HAS ANY RESTORATION OR TAPE, BECAUSE WE KNOW THIS IS IMPORTANT
INFORMATION TO MANY COLLECTORS. |
U.S. Shipping Details
KNOW THAT IN THIS SET OF AUCTIONS
ONLY
(Part I of our 11th Annual Halloween 2010 Mini/Major Auction),
lots 6x001 through 6x120 must be shipped for the actual cost of
sending your order (plus $2 for the packaging materials) for all customers.
Because lots 6x121 through 6x751 fit in our standard sized mailers, the
U.S. buyers of those items will pay $10 U.S. shipping (non-U.S. buyers need
to pay the actual cost of shipping). Since the two sections of this auction
mostly can NOT be combined, if you win items from both sections of this auction,
you will likely need to pay shipping for two separate packages (an "actual cost"
tube and the $10 flat rate U.S. shipping).
Missouri
customers: You must pay an additional 7.162% sales tax on your
purchases. If your order is sent within the state of Missouri, we MUST
collect this tax (if it is shipped to another state, we do not collect the tax).
Will your order be
shipped to you by UPS?
UPS does NOT automatically require a signature
to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will
need to pay the extra $3.00 UPS charges for "signature required" Delivery
Confirmation, and please realize that they will then NOT leave the
package, and you may well have to go to the UPS facility yourself to pick it
up. But if you prefer this, that is fine, and if you have any other
special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order.
IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE
WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!
You CAN usually combine shipment!
NOTE: Tuesday lots 6x001 through 6x120 must be
shipped in oversized tubes or flat packages and likely can NOT be
combined with any of our other auctions.
NOTE: Tuesday lots 6x121 through 6x751 need to be sent
in flat packages so...
*they
can be
combined with these auctions:
- Tuesday October 19th folded one-sheets
- Thursday October 21st "oversized flat" items
- Sunday October 24th personally signed items
- Thursday October 28th lots of two or more 8" x 10"
stills from the same title
- Sunday November 7th miscellaneous items that do not
fit in our standard auctions
*they must be sent separately from
these auctions for an additional shipping charge:
- Sunday October 10th rolled 27" x 41" one-sheets
- Tuesday October 26th rolled non-U.S. posters
- Sunday October 31st "oversized" rolled posters
- Thursday November 4th rolled items in Part II of our
Halloween auction
|
Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single
set of Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Sunday auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items, but we also allow you to wait until
the next five sets of auctions end (a total of six sets of auctions) so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions
(if possible), and that means there
is a chance you could combine items from up to six of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package). We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do, but we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and
FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).
DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS
UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE $10 U.S. SHIPPING (on lots 6x121 through 6x751) OR
THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (on lots 6x001 through 6x120)!
|
Non-U.S. Shipping Details
Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their order
(you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post
Office has eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or
Airmail), plus $2 for the best packaging materials you have ever seen.
All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the package sent insured or
uninsured at the time they pay for their order.
Have you heard about our Pay and Hold
Program?
This lets non-U.S. buyers pay for their purchases from 4 consecutive weeks
(a total of 12 auctions and around 8,000+ items!), and we then send all your
purchases at once saving you LOTS of money! Click
HERE to learn more (if you are not one of the hundreds of our
non-U.S. buyers who are already part of this program)

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please bear these
approximate shipping cost in mind BEFORE you place a bid (if
you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very
securely packed tube, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of
course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask
us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order.
Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large
"brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it. Note that there are also
some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course
this is not legal, and we can not do this. We have outlined the
possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that
carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!
Do you have a friend or relative who lives in the
United States?
Some of our customers either
visit the U.S. regularly, or have friends or relatives within the U.S., and
often those customers have us send their orders to a U.S. address, and then
they transport the posters from there. THIS CAN SAVE YOU A GREAT DEAL ON
SHIPPING! This is fine with us, but realize that you still need to let
us know within one week of receipt if you want to return anything, so don't
use this method unless you are certain you will want to keep your purchases.
DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (the
actual cost of shipping plus $2 outside the U.S.)!
