(Learn More) Hans Christian Andersen, the 1952 Charles Vidor Denmark fictional musical biographical melodrama ("Screenplay by Moss Hart"; "Words & Music by Frank Loesser"; about the legendary Danish children's storyteller) starring Danny Kaye (in the title role as Hans Christian Andersen), Farley Granger, Zizi Jeanmaire (billed as "introducing Jeanmaire"), Joseph Walsh, and Philip Tonge Important Added Info: Note that this is a really cool pressbook. It measures a very large 12" x 18", but the front and back covers form a single image that measures 18" x 24". The inside of the pressbook is a folder and on the left and right are full-color die-cuts of the stars, with a full-color 17 1/2" x 23" sheet showing all the posters in full-color. In addition, there are other supplements and an advertising section. One certainly wishes they did this for every movie! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!Overall Condition: very good to fine.
