An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Jay C. Flippen was a film and television actor from the 1920s to the 1970s. Apparently, early in his career, he performed in blackface, but we could find no more about it! Some of his roles include: Oklahoma!, The Wild One and Carnival Story. One of his best roles was as "T-Dub" in "They Live By Night". He passed away in 1971 at the age of 71.

Important Added Info: Note that this still, which is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock, shows Mitchell art of actor Jay C. Flippen, who became well known in the 1950s, performing in blackface! We could find no more about this. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
