The East Asiatic Company was a Danish travel agency founded by Hans Niels Andersen in 1897. The East Asiatic Company specialized in passenger and freight travel to the Far East and New York via ship, until air travel caused the company to go out of business in 1969.

Important Added Info: Note that this travel poster shows a colorful world map with a cruise ship beneath it. We are also separately auctioning a different poster from this company, which shows six cruise ships with the names of countries they are traveling to above them.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has some faint staining in the bottom of the orange area, more so in the bottom left corner. It has a faint partial diagonal crease in the bottom right corner. Otherwise, the poster is in nice condition!
