An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 28" x 42" [71 x 107 cm]) (Learn More) The New Haven Railroad Boston, the circa 1942 train railroad railway travel poster encouraging people to visit Boston, Massachusetts aboard the New Haven Railroad, and featuring Ben Nason art of the Boston National Historical Park. Note that the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad (commonly known as New Haven) was a railroad that operated in the New England region of the United States from 1872 to 1968. Artist: Ben Nason Condition: good. The poster was never folded. It has discoloration, creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of the edges (see our image). The poster is printed on a somewhat fibrous paper and the colors are pretty nice, and this is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that much or most of the discoloration can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
