An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) The Bold Caballero, the 1936 Wells Root south-of-the-border cowboy western ("Filmed entirely in natural color!"; "In Thrilling Natural Color!"; "Based on idea by Johnston McCulley"; this was an unofficial Zorro sequel, no doubt because Republic didn't want to have to pay the rights, but the characters had their correct names!) starring Robert Livingston (billed as "Bob Livingston"; as Don Diego/Zorro), Heather Angel, Sig Ruman, Ian Wolfe, and Robert Warwick NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had separation at the crossfolds and there was tape on the back of those areas. There were pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges and there had been tape on the back of the borders that bled through to the front. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
