Date Sold 9/5/2019Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 31 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Cahill: United States Marshal, the 1973 Andrew V. McLaglen cowboy western ("Break the law and he's the Last man you want to see. And the Last you ever will."; "Five killers robbed the Valentine bank. The lucky ones got caught. The rest got Cahill."; "His badge says hello.") starring John Wayne (in the title role as J.D. Cahill), Gary Grimes, Neville Brand, George Kennedy ("as Fraser"), Marie Windsor, Jackie Coogan, Harry Carey Jr., and Neville Brand NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So they are original stills from 1973, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this auction also includes the printed envelope this item originally came with! Condition: very good to fine. The stills are in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
