Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had a 2" tear in the center of the top border, extending into the top of the image background, with some creases and scuffing in the center of the top edge of the top background area. Otherwise, the poster was in nice condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! As noted above, this poster came from the amazing Kevin Doyle Star Wars movie poster collection, and he had all of his Star Wars posters linenbacked, for preservation, not because they needed restoration.
