An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Marian Nixon was an actress from the 1920s to the 1930s. Some of her movies include: Hands Up!, The Show of Shows, and Pilgrimage. She appeared in 73 movies from 1924 to 1936, at which point she married director William Seiter and retired. In 1971, years after Seiter's death, she married actor Ben Lyon, and she was married to him until he passed away in 1979. Marion passed away in 1983 at the age of 78. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Marian Nixon! Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. The still was probably signed by Miss Nixon in the 1950s. It is inscribed to L. Allen Smith, who was a newspaper columnist in the 1940s and 1950s whose column was called "Circle of Stars", and this photo comes from his personal collection. Condition: good. There is some staining in the bottom of the still and some creases around the edges. There is a very transparent oval stain in the lower left that is above and in the "Al" of "Allen".
