An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style B One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Racetrack, the 1933 James Cruze horse racing sports betting gambling romantic melodrama (about a professional gambler who takes an orphan teenager and helps him to become a jockey, and the boy's mother reappears and is at first opposed to the idea, but then she falls in love with the gambler) starring Leo Carillo, Junior Coghlan, Kay Hammond, Lee Moran, and Huntley Gordon. Note that this is an odd movie. We know that it was filmed in 1931, but was not released until 1933. We have seen what appears to be original release material with "World Wide" credited as the releasing company, but also a window card with "Tiffany Productions". Even more confusing, online sources say that William Fox had something to do with it! We wonder if it passed through several hands between 1931 and 1933. Condition: good to very good. There are some glue stains on parts of the back of some edges and there are some smaller areas of glue staining on the back of parts of the image.
