Date Sold 6/17/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 3 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Steve Reeves was a bodybuilder and actor in many Italian sword & sandal movies from the 1950s to 1960s. Between 1946 and 1950, he won many bodybuilding competitions (and his results were achieved BEFORE steroids!), culminating with the title of Mr. Universe in 1950. He was the first of the American actors to go to Italy, when he played the starring role in Hercules in 1959, which led to hundreds of similar movies starring Reeves and many other Americans. Some of his other movies include: Duel of the Titans, Morgan the Pirate, The Last Days of Pompeii, and Hercules Unchained. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 74. Condition: good to very good. There are some large punch holes in one edge of the stills. They are either keybook stills, or someone could have just put those punch holes there. One has a tape repair on back at lower left.
