Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the top crossfold and pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Either the poster was not glued to the linen correctly, or it came into contact with moisture after it was backed, because there are now small areas on the back of the bottom right corner of the linen and along the bottom of the poster, where the linen is "bubbling up" and separating from the rice paper. It is not noticeable from the front, but there is an area in the right of the bottom border that is not glued to the rice paper, and there is a crease above it that looks like it was acquired after the poster was backed. Any restorer could deal with the above without re-backing the poster, or it could be displayed as it is, but please bear in mind the above before bidding on this poster.
