Giger was a Swiss surrealist artist, sculptor, movie set designer and director from the 1970s to the 2010s. He is certainly best remembered for originating the sets and aliens from the Alien series. Some of the other movies featuring his sets and artwork include: Species I & II, and Dark Seed I & II, as well as directing a few movies including Swiss Made, Giger's Necronomicon, and Giger's Alien. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 74. Artist: H.R. Giger Important Added Info: Note that this art print has been personally autographed (signed) by H.R. Giger and hand-numbered 222/1000! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
