An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Dutch Movie Poster (measures 31 1/2" x 43 3/4" [80 x 111 cm]) (Learn More)

Cajus Julius Caesar (released in the U.S. as "Julius Caesar"), the 1914 Enrico Guazzoni Italian historical silent melodrama short starring Amleto Novelli (billed as "Anthony Novelli"), Bruto Castellani, Ignazio Lupi, Augusto Mastripietri, and Gianna Terribili-Gonzales. Note that Roman citizens had three names: the praenomen, nomen, and cognomen. For instance, for Julius Caesar his praenomen was Gaius (spelled Caius before the introduction of G to the Latin alphabet and spelled Cajus for this Dutch film), his nomen was Julius, and his cognomen was Caesar.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster before! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good. The poster has many creases scattered in various areas and creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges. There are a few stains scattered in the poster.
