An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Harold Bell Wright's The Shepherd of the Hills, the 1941 Henry Hathaway Ozarks cowboy western ("Based on the Novel by Harold Bell Wright"; "America's most beloved drama of the human heart! In glorious Technicolor"; about a mysterious stranger who arrives in the Ozarks and gets involved with a beautiful young mountain girl who has a moonshiner fiance, who has vowed to kill his own father) starring John Wayne, Betty Field, Harry Carey Sr., Beulah Bondi, James Barton, Samuel S. Hinds, Marjorie Main, and Marc Lawrence. Note that this movie had been made in 1919 and again in 1928, but this John Wayne version is the best remembered one! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. The poster is in much lesser condition. There are several defects scattered along the edges and foldlines/crossfolds and there are several significant areas of foldline and/or crossfold separation. Many of the defects have been repaired with tape from the back that may bleed through to the front, but some separation at center is not making the poster slightly fragile.
