An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Matto-Grosso, the 1933 John S. Clark, Floyd Crosby, & David M. Newell South American Brazilian jungle adventure documentary ("Jaguars in the jungle"; "Rodents weighing more than 100 pounds each!"; "This is positively the first sound and talking picture made in the "River of Doubt" country in South America. One the Earth's wildest and most inaccessible regions, it baffled many daring explorers who sought it for pure adventure. Now the Matto-Grasso Expedition has brought back a genuine sound picture of country, natives and animals. A remarkable achievement.") narrated by John S. Clark. Note that this movie (like almost all jungle documentaries of this time) included scenes with topless native women, which at that time could only be seen in issues of National Geographic magazine, and which greatly increased the box office of all of these movies! Important Added Info: Note that this card contains unclothed women, so we have placed white bars over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual card does not have those white bars! Condition: very good to fine. There is slight darkening around the extreme outer edges of the blank borders, but otherwise, the card is in nice condition! Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! Learn More about condition grades
