Complete Set of 8 R1910s Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

The Microscope Mystery, the 1916 Paul Powell silent medical doctor mystery comedy (from the story by George Randolph Chester) starring Constance Talmadge, Wilfred Lucas, F.A. Turner, Pomeroy Cannon, Winifred Westover, and Monte Blue
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that this movie was originally released by Triangle Pictures in 1916. It is unlikely that any original Triangle movie paper exists from this title. Triangle would release each movie for a short while and then sell the rights to areas of the country to various companies. This lobby card set may well be the only surviving material of any kind from this early mystery movie!
Also note that this movie starred 19 year old Constance Talmadge in what was surely one of her first starring roles. Although quite beautiful in 1916, she is virtually unrecognizable from how she looked in the 1920s as a major star! Also note that legendary filmmaker D.W. Griffith "supervised" this movie. The title card offered here states that it is a "Griffith Production".

Condition: fine. There are minor smudges in the borders of the cards, but it is hard to believe that these cards could have survived all these years in any better condition!
