Date Sold 3/20/2014 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 8 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Pacto de silencio (literally translates to "Pact of Silence"), the 1949 Antonio Roman Spanish murder crime mystery thriller starring Rafael Bardem, Ana Mariscal, Adriano Rimoldi, Conrado San Martin (billed as "Conrado Sanmartin"), and Maria Martin (billed as "Mery Martin") Important Added Info: Note that these lobby cards were printed in the United States for use at theaters with Spanish speaking audiences (this was done most by MGM, starting in the 1930s, but it was done by the other major studios as well, and often the posters would have the exact same image as the English language poster, except the writing would be in Spanish, and on posters from the 1930s and 1940s there would be an added "Toda en Espanol!", meaning "Entirely in Spanish!", printed within the image). Sometimes posters from the 1960s or later will have the word "SPANISH" printed in the bottom border (or sometimes stamped on the back of the poster). Condition: poor to fair. The cards have MANY defects scattered throughout including several pinholes around the edges, significant scuffs, stains, smudges, tiny brown dots stains and/or creases (please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of these cards).
