An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) Babes on Broadway, the 1941 Busby Berkeley New York City Broadway theater stage acting dance romantic musical comedy ("The fastest musical show on Earth!"; "Biggest song and dance spectacle of all time!"; "Mickey's impersonation of Carmen Miranda is a riot!"; "Original story by Fred Finklehoffe") starring Mickey Rooney, Judy Garland, Fay Bainter, Virginia Weidler, Ray McDonald, Richard Quine, Donald Meek, and Alexander Woollcott. Note that this movie includes a scene where Rooney does a dance cross-dressed as Carmen Miranda, complete with a fruit basket on his head! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: very good to fine. The card has darkened somewhat, but it is only noticeable in the blank borders. There are creases in the bottom of the right blank border. There is a 1/2" tear in the middle of the left blank border. There was a 1" tear in the middle of the right blank border that was repaired with tape from the back. There are seven pieces of clear tape on the back of the card, but they do not appear to have been placed there for any sort of repair purpose, and they do not affect the front.
