An Act of Murder (also released as "Live Today For Tomorrow"; released outside the U.S. as "I Stand Accused"), the 1948 Michael Gordon courtroom lawyer legal crime film noir ("MERCY or MURDER?"; "Can YOU Condemn This Man?"; "A great love for which there was no tomorrow!"; "A story that will stun you with its frankness... its IMPACT!"; "Mercy or murder - are you fit to judge?"; about a judge whose wife is terminally ill; he kills her in a "mercy killing", and is put on trial; "From the Novel 'The Mills of God' by Ernst Lothar") starring Fredric March, Edmond O'Brien, Florence Eldridge (March's real-life wife!), Geraldine Brooks, and Stanley Ridges

Important Added Info: Note that these stills measure from 7 1/2" x 10" to 8 1/4" x 9 3/4". SUPER IMPORTANT! THOUGH ONLY EIGHT OF THE STILLS ARE PICTURED, THE HIGH BIDDER ON THIS LOT WILL RECEIVE 33 STILLS FROM THIS MOVIE (but realize that on some of these lots with 9 or more stills there may be a few duplicates, mostly on post-1960 lots)! We realize there is an element of gambling to this, but we made only a small effort to find the best stills in these lots, and, if you have any willingness to gamble at all, you may find that you get some great stills that were not pictured! Please do NOT bid on this lot unless you can accept that you are only seeing eight of the stills. Note that these stills have been trimmed and they now measure 7 1/2" x 10" [19 x 25 cm].

Condition: good to very good. Each still in the set has been trimmed around various edges and have a few minor defects scattered throughout.
