An Original Vintage Hardcover Book (measures 5 1/4" x 7 1/2"; 255 pages) (Learn More)

Wings, the Grosset & Dunlap 1927 illustrated movie edition book by John Monk Saunders, based on the Paramount Pictures movie Wings, the 1927 William A. Wellman silent/talking World War I (WWI) military airplane aviation thriller ("Story by John Monk Saunders"; Best Picture Academy Award winner) starring Clara Bow, Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, Richard Arlen, Gary Cooper (in one of his first major roles!), Jobyna Ralston, El Brendel, Richard Tucker, and Roscoe Karns
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that the book has an intriguing inscription on the copyright page which says "Property of JMS". Since the book was written by John Monk Saunders, it seems quite possible that this was his book, but of course, it could have been written by anyone, or it could be someone else with the initials "JMS" (but that would be a really amazing coincidence!). Also note that this is the first edition from 1927. We have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads.

Note that on all hardcover books, the buyer must pay the actual cost of shipping (but if you solely buy books, or if you want the books shipped separately, they can be shipped in the U.S. only via "Media Mail", which is much less expensive than Priority Mail; unfortunately, there is no similar service outside the U.S. to Media Mail). So bear the above in mind before placing a bid on this book.

Condition: very good to fine. The book is in pretty nice condition!
