Howard Hawks' Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the classic 1953 Howard Hawks romantic musical son-of-rich-man-loves-beautiful-wacky-showgirl-and-his-father-does-everything-to-break-them-up comedy ("The two M-M-Marvels of our age in the wonder musical of the world!"; "Based on the musical Comedy by Joseph Fields and Anita Loos"; "Music and Lyrics by Jule Styne and Leo Robin"; "Presented on the Stage by Herman Levin and Oliver Smith") starring Jane Russell (as Dorothy Shaw), Marilyn Monroe (as Lorelei Lee), Charles Coburn (as Sir Francis 'Piggy' Beekman), Elliot Reid, Tommy Noonan, George Winslow (the little boy with the super deep voice, billed as "George 'Foghorn' Winslow"), Marcel Dalio, Taylor Holmes, Norma Varden, Howard Wendell, and Steven Geray

Condition: good. creases and smudges throughout the poster; some moron made tiny holes in Monroe's forehead and knee and in the bottom of Russell's costume; there are yellow and brown water stains down the entire vertical foldline; pairs of staple holes around the edges of the poster; paper loss in the upper left blank corner. Of course, this rare and desirable poster can be restored, but even after restoration, although the poster would look great, it would have some paint on the image, so please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects and are willing to have it restored.
