Also included is an ad supplement that has 12 pages (Learn More) Saturday Night Fever, the classic 1977 John Badham New York City romantic musical disco dancing melodrama ("Where do you go when the record is over..."; "Saturday Night Fever ...Catch it."; "Original music written and performed by the Bee Gees"; about men in their early 20s whose life revolves around going to discos on Saturday night and spending their entire paycheck) starring John Travolta (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Tony Manero), Karen Lynn Gorney (as Stephanie; billed as "Karen Gorney"), Barry Miller (as Bobby C.), Joseph Cali (as Joey), Paul Pape (as Double J.), Donna Pescow (as Annette), Martin Shakar (as Frank Jr.), Nina Hansen (as the grandmother), and Val Bisoglio (as Frank Sr.) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that when studios would prepare pressbooks they would often include a sample of the herald. Most often, the herald is no longer still with the pressbook. Sometimes, the herald by itself will sell for almost as much as the rest of the entire pressbook! This pressbook contains the original herald which is pictured next to the pressbook below. Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a movie being released. Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. Almost every Academy Award winning movie would have a special "Academy Award winner" supplement. Condition: fine. This pressbook is in excellent condition! It is complete and UNCUT, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. It has also never been folded, which is also unusual, as almost all larger pressbooks were folded in half so that they could be more easily transported.
