While we once owned this item, we did not auction it through eMoviePoster.com (which is why no price or date is listed) nor do we have it available for purchase. Hey Look!, the 1937 Walt Disney Mickey Mouse's animated animation cartoon comedy stock standee featuring Mickey Mouse. Note that Walt Disney was dissatisfied with their distribution deal with United Artists, and in 1937, they switched to RKO. For the very first cartoons released through RKO, they created this giant die-cut cartoon standee featuring a giant image of Mickey Mouse, with the words "Hey Look!" by his mouth. They also created 14" x 28" promo "cards" (printed on a heavy stock), and there was one promo card for each cartoon, and the theater would buy the "Hey Look!" standee and then insert the different promo cards in it for each cartoon they showed. Obviously, this was incredibly complicated, and they soon abandoned it and began making regular one-sheets. This standee is incredibly rare, as are the 14x28 promo cards for any of those cartoons made in 1937 and 1938 (and there are no one-sheets for those cartoons, only the promo cards).
