An Original Vintage 8" x 10" Magazine Insert Still (Learn More)

Charles Rogers (often billed as either Charles 'Buddy' Rogers or Buddy Rogers) was a major lead actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. Some of his movies include: Wings, My Best Girl, and So's Your Old Man. He is well remembered for having married Mary Pickford after she was divorced from Douglas Fairbanks (he was 11 years younger than she was, and people thought their marriage would not last, but they remained married for 42 years until she passed away in 1979). He lived another 20 years after that, passing away in 1999 at the age of 94. Since Pickford was nicknamed "America's Sweetheart", he was sometimes referred to as "America's Boyfriend".
Important Added Info: Note that this is part of a special promotion that Screen Play Secrets Magazine did in 1930 (there were other magazines that did this as well). They would insert into each magazine an 8" x 10" still (printed on better quality paper stock than regular 8x10 stills). Sometimes you find the magazines with the stills intact, and other times they have been removed. The person who owned this still removed it from the magazine. Also note that this still has a FACSIMILE autograph that is within the printing of the still (the still has NOT been personally autographed).

Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and scuffs scattered in the still.
